We teach Pilates equipment classes in Richmond, Nelson to help you meet your health, performance or fitness goals. Coronavirus precautions

Please do not come in if you're sick. 

  • Please cancel even if you think you've just got a 'little cold'. Coronavirus symptoms can present like a cold or flu for a period of time and we don't want to risk the health of our clients or ourselves. 
  • We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for appointments.
  • We offer Zoom online classes if you can't attend our studio. Find out more below.

Equipment classes

All movement classes and Myofascial Release Therapy sessions are by appointment only.

Private class

Duration: 1 hour.

About: ​Use our specialised Pilates equipment to improve your posture, strength, and flexibility. We can also help you to rehabilitate from an injury or improve your sporting performance. These are private, one-on-one classes. 

Cost: 

  • $95 for an initial consultation for new clients or for a single, one-off class. 
  • $85/class for follow-up classes or $320 for a 4-class card.

Booking and payment: Contact Tania if you're new to our studio so we can book an initial consultation to get to know you and assess your Pilates needs. For follow-up classes, click the 'Book and pay' button to schedule and pay before you attend a class. Options:

Duo class

Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour.

About: Duo sessions mean you share a private class with one other person. You will still have the benefits of a private session but be able to share the cost with someone else. If we only have one person booked into a duo session, the session duration will reduce to 45 minutes.

Cost: $55 per person for each shared class or $200 for a 4-class card.

Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR)

Duration: 1 hour.

About: Connective tissues called fascia surrounds muscles and envelop the entire body. Fascia also plays a key role in regulating the immune system. But inflammation, fibrosis, and fascial thickening can limit your range of motion and cause pain. Myofascial release is a safe, effective hands-on technique. It involves applying gentle sustained pressure to the myofascial connective tissue. It is a beneficial addition to the movement work we do at Hearts and Bones Pilates. You’ll know you’ve created positive change if you feel:

  • reduced pain
  • increased ease of motion
  • greater range of motion
  • less inflammation.

Cost: $80/session or $300 for 4-session cards.

Online classes

Do Pilates online at your place. Connect to us through Zoom on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. Online classes are the same price as those we offer in our studio.
