Protecting your privacy

Hearts and Bones Pilates is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use personal information you provide for the purpose for which it was provided. We will keep your information secure and will not disclose it to any third party.

Please contact us immediately if you have any concerns about the personal information we hold or if you wish to review or correct your information.

Classes, training, and workshops

Cancellation and refund policy

We have the following refund policies if you cancel.  

  • Classes:  You will need to pay the fee for your cancelled class if you give us less than 24 hours' notice. We do not refund class cards after payment.
  • Training and workshops: We do not refund registrations, so please choose your training or workshops carefully. If you are unable to attend, we can credit your fees toward other Hearts and Bones Pilates training or workshop(s) scheduled for within 12 months of the cancelled training or workshop start date. Note that we can only credit workshop fees once. If you are unable to attend the re-booked workshop, we cannot further credit or refund your fees. If we have to cancel for any reason, we will refund your payment in full within 6 weeks of the cancellation notification.
  • Special workshops and consultancy: If you have to cancel a workshop or consultancy, we will invoice you for the cost of any materials purchased and an hourly rate for time already spent working on your project.
  • Conference: Refer to the conference registration terms and conditions for details about our cancellation policy.

Protecting our intellectual property

Students shall not:

  • reproduce, modify, translate or create any derivative work of all or any portion of any Hearts and Bones Pilates study guide or workshop handout provided with a course, programme, or workshop
  • sell, sublicense, lease, loan, provide, distribute or otherwise transfer all or any portion of any study guide or workshop
  • reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile all or part of the electronic version of any Hearts and Bones study guide or workshop
  • remove, alter, cover or obfuscate any copyright notices or other proprietary rights notices placed or embedded by Hearts and Bones
  • cause or permit any third party to do any of the foregoing.

Spring Movement's returns policy

At Spring Movement, we want you to be happy with the products you have purchased from us.

Faulty products

Email Frank (frank.spitzmesser@gmail.comimmediately or phone 04 476 8899 if you believe that you have purchased a faulty product so that we can ensure that we meet our obligations to you under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

If the product is found to be faulty but it’s something that can be fixed, we may issue a replacement item, or, if a suitable replacement is not available, we may refund you the purchase price.

All repairs will be done in a timely manner, depending on the nature of the repair needed. We will discuss the timeframe with you for the repairs to be completed.

If the fault is serious and the item cannot be repaired, we will replace it or give you a refund as required under the Consumer Guarantees Act. You must have used the item in a reasonable way (ie in accordance with our manufacturer’s warranty) and provide proof of purchase.

Change-of-mind refunds

No refunds will be given for goods if you have simply changed your mind.

Spring Movement's manufacturer’s warranty

We warrant our equipment to be free of manufacturing defects. This warranty refers to all Spring Movement equipment and covers materials only.

Spring Movement retains the right to either repair, exchange, or refund the price of any defective components covered under our warranty. Spring Movement elastic equipment (Foot Straps, Resistance Straps and Body Straps) are non-refundable and will be replaced.

Any parts that are repaired or replaced under the terms of this agreement will be warranted for the remainder of the term of the original warranty.

Conditions

The Spring Movement warranty applies under the following conditions: 

  1. The defect is not the result of normal wear and tear, accidents, abuse, misuse, unauthorized repair or improper service, or exposure to harsh elements (natural or synthetic).
  2. The equipment is not modified in any way.
  3. The equipment is only used in accordance with generally accepted exercise or Pilates practices.
  4. The weight of a person using the equipment does not exceed 110kg.
  5. The warranty claim is made by the original purchaser of this equipment.
  6. The claim is made within the relevant warranty period specified below for the type of equipment. 

Warranty period

Our warranty becomes effective on the invoice date of the original purchase and extends to the time limits indicated below.

Products with a 6-month warranty are follows: 

  • Foot Straps
  • Resistance Strap
  • Body Strap. 

Products with a 12-month warranty are as follows: 

  • Waist Loop
  • D-Ring Loop
  • Loop Strap
  • Thigh Cuff.

Products with a 12-month warranty on the frame and structural components only are as follows: 

  • Ladder Barrel
  • Half Barrel
  • Step Barrel
  • Stool
  • Balance Table
  • Medium Balance Table
  • Mini Balance Table
  • Incline Board
  • Calf Stretcher
  • Gondola Poles.

Upholstered and rubber parts are warranted for 90 days.
