What you'll learn
- Learn how release tension from your neck, shoulders, and face to improve your breathing
- Understand how your abdominals, pelvic floor muscles and diaphragm work together to improve your trunk stability, flexibility, and how you breathe.
- Learn why standing up straight and pulling your shoulders back may not improve your posture and may also make it harder to breathe.
- Explore how your ribs move when you breathe.
- Learn a variety of exercises to help you breathe better.
About the presenter — Tania Huddart
Tania is a highly skilled Pilates Instructor and Master Pilates Instructor. She has many years of experience teaching clients and student instructors and presenting Pilates workshops both nationally and internationally. Tania is the managing director of, and lead instructor for, Hearts and Bones Pilates Centre in Nelson.
